CODIPA: REDESIGN OF A COMPLEX ECOSYSTEM.
THE CHALLENGE: MANAGING COMPLEXITY
CODIPA was managing a fragmented environment that had to meet critical requirements: a member extranet, a supplier management portal, individual e-commerce sites and a corporate website.
The main technical challenge lay in the volume and variability of the data: over 170,000 items and an annual update of 500,000 differentiated price lists.

THE SOLUTION: A ‘MULTI-ENTITY’ ARCHITECTURE
We have developed a robust platform capable of managing the entire ecosystem from a single engine. Integrated with the Eurocom ERP system, the solution autonomously manages incoming and outgoing data flows.
- Connected Multi-Store Platform: Deployment of 65 e-commerce sites for members, with synchronisation of banners, news and products.
Management of a shared banking package across all stores. - Complex Pricing Management: A calculation engine capable of processing hundreds of thousands of specific pricing lines.
- Multi-Order Management: Advanced system enabling the segmentation and management of different order types to meet complex logistical and organisational constraints.
- Exchange Marketplace: Creation of an interactive space enabling members to exchange stock and resources.
- School Lists: A specialist module for the automated management of school supplies and publications.
- Horizontal Database: Implementation of horizontal data separation with one database per e-commerce shop, enabling better load management and easier portability.
PERFORMANCE & INTEGRATION
The architecture allows for bulk data imports without slowing down the payment platform or user interfaces.

After more than two years of working in collaboration with Ice Development Lyon, our members were delighted to discover the new intranet, which was launched this week. New features have been developed to help them work more efficiently.
